Construction Company PORR AG Joins Austrian ATX Index
PORR AG, an Austrian construction company, will be included in the Austrian Traded Index (ATX). The move follows a significant increase in the company's share price and trading volume.

Austrian construction firm PORR AG is set to join the Austrian Traded Index (ATX), the country's blue-chip index, moving up from the ATX Prime segment. This inclusion signifies its position among Austria's 20 largest and most liquid companies.
The decision is driven by PORR's strong stock performance over the past year, marked by a share price increase of 118% between September 2024 and August 2025. Additionally, the trading volume of its shares on the Vienna Stock Exchange has quadrupled.
PORR AG's CEO, Karl-Heinz Strauss, highlighted the company's excellent performance and earned investor confidence despite global economic uncertainties. The company also saw its free float increase to 52.6% in June 2025 following the sale of own shares and additional shares through private placement, boosting liquidity.
Founded in 1869, PORR is the oldest listed stock on the Vienna Stock Exchange. With approximately 21,000 employees and a production output of around EUR 6.7 billion in fiscal year 2024, it is one of Austria's largest construction companies and a leading player in Europe.
