Context Labs establishes Abu Dhabi regional hub following 22/x investment
AI data infrastructure firm Context Labs has secured a strategic investment from Abu Dhabi-based 22/x to scale operations across the MENA region.
Context Labs, a provider of data infrastructure for artificial intelligence, is establishing a regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The move follows a strategic investment from 22/x, an AI-focused investment and incubation platform established by the Nowais family.
This partnership aims to deploy the company's AI-enabled data infrastructure, which focuses on verifying data provenance for enterprise AI. The technology is primarily targeted at sectors such as energy, utilities, and critical infrastructure, where auditability and operational accuracy are critical for compliance and performance.
By leveraging 22/x's local network and resources, Context Labs intends to integrate its solutions into existing industrial frameworks in the Middle East and North Africa. CEO Dan Harple stated that the collaboration provides the necessary infrastructure for regional enterprises to maintain verified data assets, which serves as a foundation for autonomous and AI-driven decision-making.
