Context Labs introduces AI Distillery for sovereign enterprise data

Context Labs has introduced its new platform, AI Distillery, aimed at addressing the challenges enterprises face when scaling artificial intelligence. The platform allows organizations to transform operational data into controlled 'Context Packages,' which can be utilized by a wide range of AI models without the data being used to train third-party systems.

By ensuring that every output from an AI model can be traced back to its original source, the platform intends to solve issues regarding reliability and data governance. According to the company, this setup provides a way for enterprises to maintain ownership of their competitive advantages while still leveraging the latest advancements in AI technology. The system operates within the customer's preferred environment, whether on-premises or in the cloud.

CEO Dan Harple stated that while AI models are constantly evolving, a company's internal operational context must remain stable and proprietary. The platform is designed to provide this stability by separating the 'context'—the company's unique knowledge—from the 'model'—the technology processing the information.

Context Labs is currently demonstrating the platform at ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi, showcasing its application in the energy sector where traceability of operational data is critical. The move comes as industry analysts suggest that many enterprise AI projects fail due to inadequate data infrastructure.
