Context Labs introduces AI platform for sovereign data management
Context Labs has launched AI Distillery, a platform designed to let enterprises run AI models using their own proprietary data while maintaining full control over information governance.

Context Labs has unveiled AI Distillery, a new infrastructure platform aimed at addressing enterprise concerns over data privacy and AI scalability. The solution packages internal business data with verified lineage, allowing companies to integrate their own records with chosen frontier or open-weight AI models without sharing proprietary information with third-party vendors.
Industry analysts have frequently highlighted that a lack of structured, AI-ready data is the primary hurdle preventing companies from successfully scaling artificial intelligence initiatives. Context Labs attempts to solve this by providing tools for teams to organize knowledge through ontologies and knowledge graphs, ensuring that AI responses are verifiable and auditable.
CEO Dan Harple stated that while AI models are interchangeable, an organization's specific operational context is its unique competitive advantage. By running the platform within their own cloud or data center, companies can ensure that their intellectual property is not used to train external third-party models.
The platform is now available via Microsoft and is currently being showcased at the ADIPEC 2026 conference, demonstrating applications for the energy sector.
