Context Labs secures 22/x investment to open Abu Dhabi regional headquarters
Context Labs has received a strategic investment from the Abu Dhabi-based firm 22/x to establish a regional headquarters and expand its AI data infrastructure services across the Middle East and North Africa.

Context Labs, a provider of AI data infrastructure, has finalized a strategic investment deal with 22/x, an AI-focused investment platform founded by the Nowais family. The partnership includes the establishment of an Abu Dhabi-based regional headquarters intended to support the company’s expansion throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The collaboration centers on deploying the firm's AI Distillery technology, which aims to provide verified data structures for industrial applications. By focusing on sectors such as energy, utilities, and critical infrastructure, the initiative intends to integrate fragmented operational data into a traceable and auditable environment. This infrastructure is designed to facilitate sovereign AI capabilities for regional organizations.
22/x will provide local expertise and network access to assist Context Labs in tailoring its data verification and provenance tools to regional requirements. This move follows an increasing industry trend toward securing data integrity as a prerequisite for large-scale enterprise AI adoption.
CEO Dan Harple stated that the firm's focus remains on establishing a reliable data foundation, noting that the utility of AI systems is fundamentally limited by the quality and verifiability of the underlying data.
