Contour Airlines has announced new direct flight service connecting Saint Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Saint Martin in the Caribbean. The route will operate between Cyril E. King Airport (STT) and Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) effective October 5, 2026.

This service is expected to improve regional connectivity in the northeastern Caribbean, linking two dynamic island economies. The route is designed to boost tourism, business travel, and inter-island mobility by providing a reliable air link between the two destinations.

Contour Airlines President Ben Munson stated the airline is proud to expand its Caribbean offerings with routes that connect communities and enhance inter-island travel. He emphasized the new service reflects the company's commitment to convenient and dependable air transportation in the region.

Officials from the U.S. Virgin Islands and Princess Juliana International Airport welcomed the new service. They highlighted its importance in strengthening regional ties, creating opportunities for tourism and business, and improving resident mobility.

Flights will be operated twice weekly on Contour's 30-seat regional aircraft, which the airline notes offers passengers increased legroom, complimentary snacks, and beverages.
