Contrinex Introduces Inductive Sensors for Up to 200 bar Pressure
Contrinex Sensor GmbH has launched a new series of inductive sensors capable of handling peak pressures up to 200 bar. These sensors are designed for demanding industrial environments.
Swiss-based Contrinex Sensor GmbH has expanded its product line with new inductive sensors designed to withstand exceptionally high pressures, reaching up to 200 bar (20 MPa). The new EXTRA PRESSURE sensors are intended for continuous operation under pressurized conditions and at depths of up to 1,000 meters.
The sensors feature a robust stainless-steel housing combined with a durable ceramic or sapphire-glass sensing face, ensuring reliability in miniature packages ranging from ∅3 mm to M8. The manufacturer states these sensors are also suitable for high-vacuum applications.
The product range includes various configurations, with options for an IO-Link interface available. This enables data communication and parameter setting for PNP NO (Normally Open) versions. All models are equipped with IP 68 protection, and one variant offers IP 69K classification.
