Swiss sensor manufacturer Contrinex Sensor GmbH has launched its new Smart Spindle Travel Sensor product line. These sensors are intended for precise monitoring of the spindle drawbar position during tool changes.
The new sensors offer a digital teach-in function for up to three switching points. They feature configurable analog curves and IO-Link connectivity, which simplifies integration into machine automation systems.
The company also presented additional automation and inspection solutions, including its DMS and AMS smart sensors for measurement applications and its Smart Camera 3D system for verifying fill levels in packaging.
