Contura Orthopaedics Partners with DataBiologics for Patient Outcome Tracking

Contura Orthopaedics has entered into a partnership with the software platform DataBiologics to enhance the collection and evaluation of patient outcomes. This collaboration will provide clinics in the UK and Canada with tools to better assess the effectiveness of Arthrosamid®.

Recording patient-reported outcomes has been a core part of Contura's strategy. The development of this online system represents an evolution as the company expands its presence in Europe and Canada, coinciding with increased awareness of hydrogel injections for knee osteoarthritis.

Arthrosamid® is an injectable hydrogel designed for long-lasting pain relief in knee osteoarthritis. The DataBiologics platform will enable patients and healthcare professionals to objectively demonstrate Arthrosamid®'s impact through a system that tracks and analyzes treatment results.

Contura aims to improve data capture from younger patient demographics, who traditionally report outcomes less frequently. The new initiative is expected to engage this group and yield more comprehensive outcome data. Information gathered post-treatment over months and years will help understand patient progress and allow for tailored treatment plans.
