Apple Chairman Tim Cook stated he will not interfere with new CEO John Ternus's decisions, emphasizing trust and communication between them.

Apple Chairman and former CEO Tim Cook has stated he will not interfere with the decisions of the current CEO, John Ternus. Cook highlighted in an interview that he and Ternus share a high level of trust and frequent communication.

Cook indicated that his current focus is on global policy and international relations, leaving the company's day-to-day leadership to Ternus. He asserted that he is not someone who meddles in others' affairs and has advised Ternus to lead the company according to his own vision.

"I am not going to interfere with him. I am not the type of person who meddles in others' affairs," Cook said during the interview. He further advised Ternus to treat the job as his own and focus on areas where he can bring the most value to the company, rather than imitating him or his predecessor, Steve Jobs.

These remarks come as Apple transitions leadership. Cook's role has shifted towards board governance and advancing global policy initiatives, while still offering support to the new CEO as deemed appropriate.
