Coop Pank AS Reports Unaudited Second Quarter 2026 Financial Results
Coop Pank AS has released its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2026, reporting growth in customer numbers and a significant expansion of its loan portfolio.
Coop Pank AS announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2026. As of the end of the period, the bank served 236,000 customers, marking a 9% increase compared to the previous year. The number of actively transacting customers reached 112,100.
During the second quarter, the bank's deposit volume grew by €69 million to €2.19 billion. Both retail and corporate customer deposits increased. The loan portfolio expanded by €82 million to €2.23 billion, with business loans showing particularly strong growth.
Coop Pank's net income for the quarter was €22.3 million, a 14% increase year-on-year. Operating expenses amounted to €11.1 million. The bank reported a net profit of €8.2 million, up 24% from the same period last year.
CEO Arko Kurtmann stated that the bank's strategy is proving effective, leading to consistent growth and value creation. He highlighted the successful combination of rapid expansion and strong financial performance. Moody's had previously upgraded Coop Pank's long-term deposit rating and its covered bonds in March.
