Cora Launches First Commercial to Redefine Period Care Messaging
Period care brand Cora has released its first-ever commercial, aiming to shift the narrative around menstrual products and appeal to younger demographics with a focus on comfort and clean ingredients.
NEW YORK โ July 14, 2026 โ Cora, a brand focused on clean period care, has launched its first commercial. The advertisement intends to reframe how menstrual products are discussed and marketed, particularly targeting younger consumers.
The commercial, directed by Erica Rose and produced with MadHouse Films, revisits common experiences from school health classes. In the narrative, a student pushes back against outdated lessons and introduces Cora as an alternative emphasizing comfort and clean materials.
Morgan Sterns, Cora's Creative Director, highlighted the goal of merging nostalgia with a contemporary perspective. "We wanted to tap into that nostalgia while reframing today's period care around comfort, and clean products," Sterns stated.
The campaign targets Gen Z and Gen Alpha, generations known for questioning the status quo. Cora suggests these consumers seek information, choice, and higher standards. The campaign is being distributed across Connected TV, YouTube, and social media platforms.
Cora offers products such as tampons and pads made with 100% organic cotton. The company also has an impact program that donates menstrual products and body literacy resources globally, having donated over 28 million items to date.
