Corgi Insurance Launches Data Center Insurance Program
Corgi Insurance has launched a new insurance program designed to cover the entire lifecycle of data centers, from construction and commissioning to ongoing operations and hardware.

Corgi Insurance announced on October 2, 2026, the launch of a new insurance program designed to cover the entire lifecycle of data centers.
The program aims to provide a comprehensive solution addressing risks across construction, commissioning, ongoing operations, and the hardware powering modern data centers. This seeks to alleviate the need for data center operators to piece together coverage from multiple policies and carriers.
During construction, the program offers builders risk and delay in start-up coverage. For operational data centers, Corgi provides coverage for critical property and infrastructure, including power, cooling, and UPS systems, as well as business income coverage for disruptions.
The program specifically addresses one of the most significant assets within modern data centers: GPUs. Corgi is introducing residual value protection for GPU hardware, covering equipment that supports AI and high-performance computing workloads.
The new insurance program is intended for colocation operators, GPU cloud and AI compute hosts, enterprise and edge data centers, and the developers constructing these facilities.
