Corner Bakery Cafe Offers Daily Free Surprise Dessert Samples

Corner Bakery Cafe has initiated a new daily sampling program across all its company-owned locations. The program offers complimentary surprise dessert samples to customers during two daily windows: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The sampling initiative is designed to encourage patrons to try new desserts they might not otherwise order. "We wanted to give them a chance to try a treat before committing to an order. It also gives our cafe teams a reason to start a conversation, hear what guests think and help them discover more of the menu," said Erin Hasselgren, president of Corner Bakery Cafe.

The selection features seven different items, including custom butter cakes and a lemon tart, developed in partnership with French Gourmet and ShellsbyDesign. Butter cakes have been identified as the fastest-growing dessert category based on market data.

Customers can check Corner Bakery Cafe's social media daily to discover the featured surprise sample. The chain, which began as a bakery in Chicago in 1991, has expanded its offerings to include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
