Corporate Technologies launches IT and cybersecurity assessments for New Jersey SMBs

Corporate Technologies, a provider of managed IT and cybersecurity services, has begun offering complimentary IT assessments for businesses with 10 to 200 employees across New Jersey. Managed from the firm's Fairfield location, the initiative offers a 30-minute review of current IT setups, potential security vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps.

CEO Jim Griffith noted that many small business owners remain unaware of their specific IT risks until a technical failure or security incident occurs. The assessment aims to provide business leaders with a transparent overview of their infrastructure, including costs for fully managed service plans structured on a per-user, per-month basis, without requiring further commitments.

The launch comes amid a widening gap between perceived and actual cyber resilience among small and mid-sized businesses. Recent industry reports highlight that while a significant majority of security leaders are confident in their ability to recover from cyberattacks, the actual success rate for full data restoration following ransomware events is considerably lower. Corporate Technologies seeks to address this through its managed services platform, which currently reports lower average annual downtime per client compared to broader market averages.

Founded in 1981, Corporate Technologies was recognized as the 2026 MSP of the Year by Channel Futures. The company continues to operate a national help desk and maintains regional engineering teams to support its managed service agreements.
