Cortopia Studios Announces Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City VR Game
Cortopia Studios has announced it is developing the first standalone VR game set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. The game is slated for a 2026 release.

Cortopia Studios, known for its acclaimed VR action title Gorn 2, has announced its next game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City. The game marks the first standalone virtual reality experience within the TMNT universe and is being developed in collaboration with Paramount Game Studio.
Empire City will allow players to assume the roles of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, or Michelangelo in an action-driven adventure that blends hard-hitting combat with an exploration of brotherhood. Comic book writer Tom Waltz, known for his work on The Last Ronin, is serving as a narrative consultant to ensure the story and tone resonate with TMNT fans.
Ace St. Germain, CEO of Beyond Frames Entertainment, emphasized that the Turtles' strength lies in their family bonds as much as their actions. "Tom Waltz is one of the most beloved minds in the TMNT creatorverse today, and his stories over the last decade have helped to shine a light on that bond," St. Germain stated.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City is scheduled for release on VR headsets in 2026. Players can wishlist the game for Meta Quest and Steam VR, with ongoing updates to be shared across social media channels.
