Cosel launches low-profile open-frame power supplies for industrial use
Cosel has introduced a new series of open-frame power supplies, the LHA150F and LHA300F, which are OVC III certified for demanding industrial applications.
Cosel Co, Ltd. has released a new series of low-profile, open-frame power supplies, the LHA150F and LHA300F, certified to the EN62477-1 Over Voltage Category III (OVC III) standard. These power supplies are designed for industrial applications such as factory automation, where compact size and high safety levels are required.
The LHA150F model is 30% smaller and up to 4.5 percentage points more efficient than its predecessor, the LFA150F. The LHA300F model is 50% smaller and offers up to 6 percentage points higher efficiency compared to the LFA300F. These improvements are attributed to the adoption of LLC resonant topology and active filtering, which also reduce noise and ripple levels.
The power supplies are designed to operate within a wide temperature range of -10 to +70 degrees Celsius and accept a single-phase input voltage range of 85-264VAC. The LHA150F provides 150W of power, while the LHA300F offers 300W. They comply with safety standards UL/EN62368-1, c-UL, and EN62368-1, featuring high isolation levels that allow direct connection to facility distribution panels without an additional isolation transformer.
