Coulomb Solutions Mobile Power Units Approved for CARB CORE Voucher Program

Coulomb Solutions Inc. (CSI) has obtained approval for three new Mobile Power Units and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) under the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) Clean Off-Road Equipment (CORE) Voucher Program. The program offers financial incentives for the purchase of zero-emission equipment.

CSI's 233 kWh, 466 kWh, and 699 kWh BESS units are now eligible for CORE program benefits. Purchasers can receive up to $400 per kilowatt-hour, potentially leading to a discount of up to $280,000 for CSI's 699 kWh system. The company's previously approved 2.3 MWh system receives the maximum incentive of $300,000.

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) CORE Voucher Program is a significant incentive program designed to assist off-road equipment users in acquiring zero-emission equipment. The program facilitates the offsetting of upfront costs through a streamlined point-of-sale voucher discount. CSI aims to enhance EV charging infrastructure at ports, airports, and construction sites where electrification is limited.
