Crédit Agricole Assurances Appoints New Director, Joins Biodiversity Foundation
Crédit Agricole Assurances announced the appointment of Marc Oppenheim as Director of Prevention, Adaptation, and Security, and its joining of the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation.

Crédit Agricole Assurances has appointed Marc Oppenheim as its new Director of Prevention, Adaptation, and Security, bolstering its focus on risk management and sustainable initiatives. Oppenheim also joins the company's executive committee.
The company also announced its membership in the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation (FfB). This move signifies an increased commitment to integrating biodiversity and climate-related issues into its investment and operational strategies, aligning with its "Façonner Demain" project.
This expansion of focus occurs alongside other initiatives, including a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the resilience of African agriculture and a project call supporting caregivers. The company has also increased its apprenticeship offerings to over 150 positions.
Crédit Agricole Assurances is the leading insurer in France and the top bancassurer in Europe. As of the end of 2025, its turnover reached €52.4 billion, with 7,100 employees globally.
