Crédit Agricole Launches Capital Increase for Employees

Crédit Agricole S.A. announced on June 2, 2026, the launch of its annual capital increase intended for the group's employees.

Over 190,000 eligible employees and retired former employees of the Crédit Agricole Group will have the option to subscribe to new Crédit Agricole S.A. shares. The company stated that this initiative allows employees to directly participate in the group's development and success.

Details regarding the capital increase, including the subscription price of the shares and other conditions, are expected to be announced later. The terms are anticipated to be set competitively, aligning with market conditions and the company's future prospects.

On the same day, asset manager Amundi, part of the Crédit Agricole Group, reported on its Annual General Meeting. At the meeting, all resolutions submitted by the Board of Directors were approved with an average approval rate of 98.29%. Additionally, Amundi launched new GDP-weighted UCITS ETFs aimed at bringing investors closer to the real economy.
