Crédit Agricole reports third quarter 2026 financial results

Crédit Agricole has published its financial performance for the third quarter and the first nine months of 2026. Group leadership emphasized the resilience of its universal banking model, which aims to provide stability to clients and regional economies during periods of volatility.

The group is advancing its ACT 2028 strategic plan through significant expansion into Germany. This includes the launch of Crédit Agricole Deutschland and a proposed acquisition of IKB, aimed at strengthening the bank's services for German mid-sized businesses.

Technological transformation remains a central priority, with the operational launch of an internal artificial intelligence division. This unit is tasked with managing group-wide AI deployment, supported by new technical partnerships with firms like Mistral. Additionally, the bank has diversified its portfolio by creating Crédit Agricole Capital Naturel to focus on natural capital preservation and regeneration.
