Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31 Supports Youth Projects Heading to Rio 2016
Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31 is supporting young athletes and project leaders in the region to realize their dreams. Funding is being provided for a range of social, cultural, and sporting initiatives.
The corporate foundation of Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31 has allocated funding to several youth projects, including supporting two high-level athletes, Lauriane Haag and Nicolas d’Oriano, in their pursuit of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Established in 2006, the foundation supports "gem" projects driven by young talents from the Haute-Garonne region. These initiatives must align with humanitarian, social, cultural, scientific, or sporting objectives. Financial assistance, up to €4,500, is available for applicants aged 16 to 30 residing in Haute-Garonne.
In addition to the swimmers, the foundation has backed other youth endeavors in 2015. These include wildlife protection efforts in Bolivia, promoting green energy via an electric tuk-tuk journey, establishing African dance workshops in Toulouse, a circus troupe performance, participation in national equestrian championships, and world championships in twirling baton.
The foundation has supported over 200 projects since its inception and is approaching its 10th anniversary. Applications for the next funding cycle are open until October 15, 2015, and can be submitted online.
