Creality Announces New Nozzle-Changing Technology for 3D Printers
Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced KliTek™, a new technology enabling automatic nozzle changes in 3D printers. The system aims to significantly speed up multi-color and multi-material printing.

Shenzhen-based 3D printer manufacturer Creality has announced the development of its KliTek™ technology, designed for automatic nozzle changes within 3D printers. The company anticipates a 2026 market introduction for this upgrade.
The primary objective of KliTek™ is to accelerate multi-color and multi-material printing processes. Creality states that traditional single-nozzle printers face limitations in speed and material waste when producing multi-color objects. Existing multi-nozzle setups have often encountered calibration and weight challenges.
Creality's KliTek™ technology focuses on swapping only the essential component, the hotend, which reportedly weighs one-fifth of a full toolhead. This nozzle change is said to take approximately five seconds. The system also incorporates a patent-pending S-Drive™ feed mechanism, intended to improve the printing of flexible materials like TPU. Creality claims this mechanism offers up to seven times the flow rate compared to many consumer-grade printers.
Furthermore, KliTek™ will allow the use of different nozzle sizes within a single print job. This could enable printing fine details with a small nozzle while using a larger, faster nozzle for infill. Creality suggests this will enhance printing efficiency, particularly for larger models.
