Creality CR-Scan Lizard 3D Scanner Crowdfunding Campaign Concludes

Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology Co., Ltd. has announced that its crowdfunding campaign for the CR-Scan Lizard 3D scanner on Kickstarter will conclude on March 12, 2022.

The campaign, launched in early February, saw significant user interest, selling 1,000 units within 17 minutes and reaching $1 million in four hours. To date, Creality has received over 2,550 user comments and has been the subject of more than a thousand media reports.

The CR-Scan Lizard, available at a starting price of $300 during the campaign, offers 0.05mm precision. Creality positions the scanner as a tool bridging industrial-grade capabilities with consumer affordability, aiming to reduce costs for creators.

Creality promotes the scanner's compatibility with its range of 3D printers, including the Ender-3 S1/S1 Pro, HALOT ONE, HALOT LITE, CR-10 Smart Pro, and Sermoon V1/V1 Pro. The company provided examples of its use in repairing car parts, creating anime figures, fixing toys, and producing props for film shoots.

Creality will celebrate its 8th anniversary on April 9th, where it plans to outline new strategies for product development and user feedback, including addressing the needs of non-professional users in model creation and printing.
