Credit Agricole launches AI platform for business specialties

Credit Agricole has developed and implemented CEOS, an artificial intelligence platform tailored for the specific needs of various business specialties within the bank. The platform aims to optimize customer value and refine the targeting of offers. CEOS enables the deployment of machine learning models that can analyze customer data to identify the best offers for new clients, with the goal of maximizing a client's lifetime value ('LifeTime Value') from the outset of the relationship.

The platform represents a technological innovation for CA CF and is built on the AWS cloud environment using an open-source Kubernetes foundation. This solution ensures efficient and secure orchestration of applications, adapting to fluctuating demand and market conditions by autonomously managing resource allocation and deallocation based on requirements. The first full-scale test, focused on optimizing client value, has yielded highly conclusive results.

Following the success of this initial test, three new departments โ€“ Credit France for lending and fraud prevention, the Data Management Office, and the Risks & Continuous Monitoring and Group Compliance units โ€“ are considering adopting the platform. The Digital Services France teams have been the primary drivers of the platform's development, employing an MLOps ('Machine Learning Operations') approach. The Architecture and Innovation team provides the business tools and industrialization processes for the AI models, while the Data Tools team supports the creation of the development framework. CA GIP is responsible for the technical infrastructure, its availability, and maintenance.

By leveraging CEOS, Credit Agricole seeks to enhance operational efficiency and provide customers with increasingly tailored services. The adoption of artificial intelligence is viewed as a key component of the bank's strategy for business development and maintaining market competitiveness.
