The release highlights the importance of "style locking" and provides practical strategies to prevent "style drift," which can lead to inconsistencies between different images or clips.

According to the guide, style drift occurs when the visual characteristics of generated content, such as color tones, lighting, and mood, unexpectedly shift even when the initial inputs remain the same. Tests conducted by CrePal indicated that up to 32.5% of images could deviate from the desired style without appropriate measures. This inconsistency can be a significant drawback for projects requiring a unified look, such as e-commerce product photos or ebook illustrations.

CrePal introduces four key variables that need to be locked to preserve a consistent style: color temperature, lighting type, shot style (camera and composition), and overall mood. Maintaining color temperature precisely (e.g., 6500K neutral daylight), consistently describing the lighting (e.g., soft 45-degree key light), and locking the camera angle and composition are crucial. Additionally, the use of mood-defining adjectives should be limited and repeated verbatim.

The strategy involves creating a reusable "style block" for prompts, which is consistently appended to the end of the generation process.
