CrePal has released an update to its Seedance 2.0 software, focusing on improving the production of multi-shot videos. The tool's objective is to ensure that different scenes within a video maintain a consistent visual identity and style, which has traditionally been a challenge.

Multi-shot video production faces two primary hurdles: preserving subject recognizability from shot to shot and ensuring uniformity in visual elements like lighting and background. CrePal states that Seedance 2.0 addresses these issues by providing tools to lock key visual elements, such as facial features and camera angles.

The company suggests a five-shot planning structure for marketing videos: Hook, Problem, Demo, Proof, and CTA (Call to Action). This framework helps creators plan their content more effectively, allowing them to focus on ensuring continuity through concise descriptions.

CrePal emphasizes that proper prompt engineering is crucial. Users are advised to list immutable tokens related to identity, camera, lighting, wardrobe, and background. This guidance assists the AI in upholding the desired continuity across various shots.

A decision point involves determining when continuity breaches necessitate regeneration and when errors can be resolved in post-production. CrePal recommends regeneration for identity-related errors, while stylistic discrepancies can be corrected using editing software.
