CRIF acquires Vision-Net to expand business information services in Ireland
CRIF has acquired Vision-Net, an Irish business information provider, to strengthen its presence in the business information and decision support solutions market in Ireland and the UK.
Bologna, Italy and Dublin, Ireland – January 11, 2018 – CRIF, a global player in credit bureau, business information, and credit solutions, announced today its acquisition of Vision-Net. Vision-Net, based in Dublin, provides immediate access to credit reports and business information for companies in Ireland and the UK.
The acquisition is expected to enhance CRIF's local footprint and its offerings in decision support solutions. CRIF has been active in Ireland and the UK for years, providing financial institutions, insurance companies, and other organizations with analytics and software solutions.
Established in 1991, Vision-Net serves a diverse client portfolio, including leading Irish corporations in financial services, legal, and accountancy sectors. The company maintains a comprehensive database of business indices for nearly 596,000 Irish companies.
By combining Vision-Net's local expertise with CRIF's global knowledge, the company aims to provide customers with a wider range of services, from risk management to business development and compliance. Vision-Net's Managing Director, Christine Cullen, will continue in her role, working alongside CRIF's Regional Director for the UK & Ireland, Sara Costantini, to implement the new Irish business strategy.
