CRIF S.p.A., a global credit and business information systems provider, has extended its private placement program with Pricoa Private Capital, part of Prudential Financial. The company has drawn a tranche of EUR 45 million under this program. The notes feature a 12-year amortizing structure and a fixed interest rate.
This latest draw follows previous issuances under the program, including EUR 50 million in 2016, EUR 30 million in 2020, and EUR 45 million in 2021. The overall "Shelf Facility" has been extended for an additional three years, with its total cap increased to USD 175 million or the EUR equivalent.
Headquartered in Bologna, CRIF offers a range of services including credit and business information systems, outsourcing, and digital solutions for business development. The company stated this new funding supports its expansion strategy and a planned investment of EUR 350 million for the 2021-2023 period.
"This US private placement allows us to further diversify our funding sources and extend our debt profile to support our expansion strategy," said Carlo Gherardi, CEO of CRIF. He added that the facility with Pricoa Private Capital confirms CRIF's "strong solidity" and ability to issue bonds internationally.
In 2021, CRIF reported a consolidated turnover of EUR 600 million. The company is a leading supplier of banking and credit information in continental Europe and a major global player in integrated business and commercial information systems.
