CRIF Finalizes Acquisition of Polish Information Companies ERIF and EBS

CRIF announced on January 24, 2023, the finalization of its acquisition of 100% of the shares in ERIF Biuro Informacji Gospodarczej S.A. and EBS sp. z o.o. These companies were acquired from KRUK Group, a prominent player in the Central European debt management market.

The acquisition of ERIF and EBS is part of CRIF's ongoing, multi-year investment strategy to expand its partner ecosystem. The objective is to provide financial institutions and businesses with more comprehensive information and high-performance solutions designed to generate value and growth opportunities across the economic system.

"This acquisition marks another important step in the consolidation of CRIF's presence in Poland," stated Carlo Gherardi, Chairman and CEO of CRIF. He expressed confidence that the transaction will bring significant advantages to local clients through an increased number of services and access to modern technological and financial solutions.
