CRIF secures EUR 45 million from Pricoa Private Capital
Business information and digital solutions provider CRIF GmbH has drawn a new EUR 45 million tranche through its private placement program with Pricoa Private Capital. The funds will support the company's investment plan for 2021-2023.

Bologna, Italy – CRIF GmbH, a global player in credit bureau and business information services, announced it has secured EUR 45 million in new funding from Pricoa Private Capital. This is a new tranche drawn under a private placement program originally established in 2016 and extended in 2020.
The financing is part of a broader Shelf Facility that allows for future issuances up to a total value of USD 125 million. The funds are earmarked to support CRIF's EUR 350 million investment plan for the three-year period 2021-2023, which focuses on expanding new services, particularly in global open banking solutions.
The notes were issued with a 12-year amortization schedule and a fixed interest rate. CRIF, which has a presence in approximately 40 countries, reported consolidated revenues of EUR 567 million for 2020, an increase from EUR 557 million in 2019. The company's EBITDA also grew to EUR 126 million. This new capital injection supports CRIF's ongoing growth strategy despite global economic challenges.
In addition to financial investments, CRIF is also expanding its workforce, planning to hire 380 new employees globally in 2021. The company continues to pursue strategic acquisitions and foster collaborations with FinTech and InsurTech startups worldwide.
