Critical Metals Corp has appointed Sergey Savchenko as CFO, George Karageorge as CTO, Thomas McNamara as Director of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, and John Thomas as General Counsel. The appointments are effective immediately.

Critical Metals Corp. (Nasdaq: CRML), a mining development company, announced on May 2, 2025, the appointment of four new executive leaders. Sergey Savchenko has been named Chief Financial Officer, George Karageorge has been appointed Chief Technical Officer, Thomas McNamara will serve as Director of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, and John Thomas has been named General Counsel.
All four executives will report directly to CEO Tony Sage. Savchenko brings over 24 years of experience in accounting and finance, including involvement in the company's Nasdaq listing. Karageorge has more than 30 years of experience in mining, engineering, and exploration sectors, with prior roles at companies like Pilbara Minerals. McNamara is a seasoned financial professional with over two decades of experience as a metals and mining portfolio manager.
John Thomas, an accomplished attorney, will oversee all legal functions. His background includes legal experience in the manufacturing sector. The company also noted a binding agreement signed with European Lithium and Rimbal concerning majority shareholder holdings.
These appointments come as Critical Metals Corp advances its development plans for the Tanbreez project in Greenland and the Wolfsberg project in Europe. The company aims to leverage its leadership team to drive its critical materials project portfolio forward.
