Cubeia Adopts AI for Software Development
Gaming software provider Cubeia aims to have all new features and releases written by AI by August. The strategic shift follows observations of AI's productivity-enhancing capabilities.

Gaming platform developer Cubeia has initiated a strategic shift towards AI-assisted software development, targeting all new features and releases to be AI-generated by August. This move was prompted by observations of how AI tools significantly boosted developer output.
The company noted that developers utilizing AI tools produced nearly 60% more output than their peers not using the technology. This insight led to a strategic decision to accelerate the integration of AI into development processes, aiming to triple the productivity of development teams without a proportional increase in headcount.
On the technical side, Cubeia is employing Claude as its primary large language model, supplemented by tools like UX Pilot AI and v0.dev for prototyping and interface design. This is expected to dramatically compress feedback loops, allowing features to be shipped, tested, and iterated on the same day.
Despite AI's speed in code generation, human oversight remains critical. Integrating AI-written code with the existing platform architecture requires rigorous review. The primary challenge now appears to be defining scope and managing the interaction of new features with legacy systems, rather than the coding time itself.
