Cubeia plans upgrade paths for Firebase service
Cubeia intends to offer upgradeable versions of its Firebase Community Edition (FCE), including Firebase Standard Edition (FSE) and Firebase Enterprise Edition (FEE).

Software company Cubeia is outlining potential upgrade paths for users developing games on its Firebase Community Edition (FCE) platform who wish to expand their services.
The planned offerings include Firebase Standard Edition (FSE) and Firebase Enterprise Edition (FEE), providing different licensing and scalability options. FCE users with successful games who prefer not to share their source code may transition to FSE, which would mirror FCE's functionality but include a proprietary license.
For scalability, Cubeia suggests that both FCE and FSE can scale by sticky-balancing sessions across multiple single instances. However, for included scalability and high availability, users could upgrade to Firebase Enterprise Edition (FEE).
The company also plans to offer a range of support options, from basic ticketing for bugs and API questions to enterprise-level support with dedicated personnel and custom hot-patches.
