Cubeia Rebuilds Poker Client on New PixiJS Engine
Cubeia has launched a fully rebuilt poker client utilizing the PixiJS rendering engine, promising enhanced performance, modernized graphics, and smoother gameplay for players.

Gaming software provider Cubeia has released a significant update to its poker client, rebuilding the entire application on the PixiJS WebGL-based rendering engine. This marks the most substantial overhaul since the client's initial release in 2009, aiming to deliver modernized graphics, smoother gameplay, and enhanced in-hand information for players.
The client's interface has been rebuilt from the ground up, featuring new card designs, player badges, and progress bars, alongside reworked dealing and winning animations. A key addition is the display of "outs" available during all-in situations, intended to make critical hands easier to follow and more engaging. Behind the scenes, the client's timeline management system, which governs gameplay actions and animations, has been reconstructed for a more predictable and consistent flow.
Cubeia reports that the rebuild has led to a 20% faster loading time for tables. The client is built using HTML5 and is designed to function across all browsers and devices without requiring a separate application download. This flexibility is intended to benefit operators by ensuring broad accessibility for their player bases.
For operators, the new client offers extensive customization options. Every visual element can be skinned using standard CSS, allowing poker rooms to match an operator's existing website branding seamlessly. Cubeia is also inviting operators to join its hybrid poker network free of charge, providing immediate liquidity and support through a $25,000 monthly promotional campaign funded by Cubeia.
The upgraded Cubeia Poker client will be available to operators starting September 10, 2026.
