Cubeia shifts to AI-first development process
Software provider Cubeia has transitioned all coding operations to an AI-assisted model, citing a 250 percent productivity increase.

Cubeia has completed a company-wide shift to AI-assisted coding, making it the default method for all new features and releases. The decision follows an internal analysis of Jira logs, which indicated that developers leveraging AI tools were significantly outperforming their colleagues, accounting for 60 percent of the company's total output.
COO Stefan Grenstad stated that the transition moved from a tooling challenge to an organizational one. By prioritizing AI, the company reports that feedback loops—previously spanning two weeks—are now completed within a single day. The development stack currently centers on the Claude LLM, integrated within a Java-based platform with a React frontend.
Cubeia is now shifting focus toward making its platform directly operable by AI agents, a development currently being tested with three operators. In addition to internal process changes, the firm is developing an SDK to provide customers with greater control over their front-end interfaces. These shifts follow a recent full-stack rebuild of the Cubeia Poker product, with further announcements expected at ICE Barcelona in early 2027.
