Cuktech launches 360W laptop power adapter with active cooling

Cuktech has launched its new 360W laptop power adapter, now available in China for 499 yuan. The device is specifically engineered to support the high power requirements of modern gaming laptops.

The adapter utilizes gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductor components and a totem-pole bridgeless PFC architecture. By removing the traditional diode rectifier bridge, the design aims to reduce conduction losses, achieving an efficiency rating of approximately 96 percent and increasing power density by roughly 109 percent.

Given the high wattage, the unit includes an active cooling system featuring a fan capable of reaching 13,300 RPM to manage heat dissipation. Measuring 84.5 x 85.5 x 36.6 mm, the device utilizes a standard DC interface and comes bundled with a variety of adapters to support multiple laptop models.

This release reflects a trend toward more compact, high-efficiency power supplies for high-performance computing, providing an alternative to traditional, bulkier power bricks.
