Culture In Motion™ Arrives in the Midwest, Celebrating Communities Shaping Black Cultural Excellence
The national arts and empowerment tour, Culture In Motion™, has arrived in the U.S. Midwest. Powered by Kwanza Jones' SUPERCHARGED platform and presented in partnership with The Apollo, the tour brings cultural experiences to communities.
The national tour 'Culture In Motion™', powered by Kwanza Jones' SUPERCHARGED platform and presented in partnership with The Apollo, has arrived in the U.S. Midwest. This traveling exhibition aims to celebrate and uplift Black culture within the communities it visits.
The tour will travel through St. Louis, Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland. It seeks to honor the region's rich legacy of Black creativity, artistic innovation, and entrepreneurship, while providing a platform for contemporary creators to be seen and heard.
In the Midwest, 'Culture In Motion' will collaborate with local artists and cultural organizations to curate community-centered experiences. Highlights include performances celebrating gospel music and other cultural expressions that reflect the region's unique identity.
Central to the tour is the SUPERCHARGED® Boost Bus™, a mobile cultural center. This bus brings The Apollo's artistic programming, storytelling, and empowerment initiatives directly into neighborhoods, fostering connections across generations.
