The national arts and empowerment roadshow, "Culture In Motion™", founded by Kwanza Jones, has arrived in the Midwest. The initiative aims to deliver "SUPERCHARGED®" empowerment experiences, creative engagement, and the legacy of The Apollo into communities.
The roadshow celebrates artists and communities that are shaping Black cultural excellence. Events will focus on developing artistic and career pathways, while also highlighting local stories and fostering community connections. The goal is to inspire and empower local residents through the arts.
"SUPERCHARGED®" experiences are designed to offer interactive workshops, performances, and dialogues. The program seeks to create a bridge between local artists and audiences, while acknowledging the historical significance of The Apollo Theater in advancing performing arts.
