Architecture and design firm Cushing Terrell has acquired Seattle-based competitor Graphite Design Group. The acquisition significantly expands Cushing Terrell's operations in the Pacific Northwest and strengthens its architecture team in Seattle.
Cushing Terrell is integrating Graphite's team, contracts, and client relationships. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The company stated the purchase supports Cushing Terrell's strategic goal of growth and deepening its presence in the Seattle market.
Graphite's team brings expertise across various design sectors, including public spaces and residential projects. Cushing Terrell CEO Lucas Pollard said, "Graphite's architectural talent and local market knowledge are an excellent complement to our own."
Graphite CEO Chad G. Smith stated that both firms share aligned values and client commitment. "Joining forces with Cushing Terrell allows us to offer an even broader range of services and resources to our clients," Smith added.
