Cvi Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract for Aircraft Maintenance Platforms

Cv International (Cvi) has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force to supply modular aircraft maintenance work stand systems. The project is intended to support the 76th Aircraft Maintenance Group's operations at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.

The contract encompasses the design, fabrication, testing, and installation of these systems. Cvi aims to enhance the efficiency of aircraft servicing processes and reduce the time aircraft spend out of service, thereby accelerating their return to operational readiness.

Cvi CEO Dan Warden stated that the award integrates the company's decades of expertise in engineering and advanced ground support equipment. "This isn't just about building stands; it's about creating equipment that fits into existing maintenance environments and increases worker efficiency safely and effectively," Warden said.

The new system will be compatible with existing maintenance stand configurations and will feature electrically powered height adjustment, integrated electrical and compressed air systems, and lighting. Cvi will also be responsible for developing a complete technical data package and manufacturing documentation.
