CVS Health raises full-year 2026 guidance following third-quarter growth
CVS Health reported revenue of $108.4 billion for the third quarter and increased its full-year earnings outlook as performance improved across key business segments.

CVS Health Corporation reported $108.4 billion in total revenue for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, a 5.4% increase year-over-year. The company posted GAAP diluted earnings per share of $1.68, a marked recovery from the same period in 2025, when results were impacted by a $5.7 billion goodwill impairment charge.
Reflecting the positive momentum, CVS Health raised its full-year 2026 guidance, now projecting adjusted earnings per share of at least $8.20. The company also increased its operating cash flow forecast to at least $15.5 billion. CEO David Joyner attributed the improved performance to operational gains within the Health Care Benefits and Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness segments.
Despite the improved outlook, the company noted it is maintaining a cautious stance for the remainder of the year. Management cited ongoing elevated cost trends and potential macroeconomic headwinds as factors that could influence results in the final quarter.
