Cyberpunk 2077 available at significant discount
CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 role-playing game is now available at a reduced price across multiple platforms. The price drop follows numerous game updates and the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion.

Video game developer CD Projekt Red has lowered the price of its role-playing game, Cyberpunk 2077, on several platforms. The standard edition is now retailing for approximately $18-$20, down from its usual $59.99. The game's Ultimate Edition, which includes the Phantom Liberty DLC, has also seen a substantial price reduction.
The price adjustment comes after extensive work by CD Projekt Red to improve the game since its challenging launch. The initial release was plagued by significant technical issues, prompting extended refund policies from both Sony and Microsoft. The developer has since focused on fixing bugs, polishing content, and releasing new material, including the Phantom Liberty expansion in 2023.
Discounted prices are available through digital storefronts like Steam, the Xbox Store, and PlayStation Store, as well as from some physical retailers. Older physical copies also qualify for free upgrades to current-generation versions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game is now recognized for its technical performance and visual fidelity, often used as a benchmark.
The current pricing makes Cyberpunk 2077 more accessible for new players and those who may have held off purchasing it at launch or are returning to experience the updated game and its expansion.
