Cybersecurity startup Brava secures $15 million in seed funding

Brava Security, a cybersecurity firm founded in 2024, has closed a $15 million seed funding round led by Pitango and F2. The round also drew support from individual investors holding senior roles at major technology firms, including Anthropic, Microsoft, and Check Point.

The startup, led by CEO Idan Basre and CTO Itay Gabbay, specializes in AI-driven tools that simulate the digital footprints of cyberattacks. By generating this telemetry, the platform enables organizations to audit their security defenses and identify gaps in logging, detection rules, and data pipelines without executing actual malicious activity.

The company’s client list includes businesses across the retail, energy, and hospitality sectors, along with Cushman & Wakefield and WELL Health. The new capital is earmarked for product development and scaling operations within the North American market.
