Cyngn Achieves ISO 27001 Certification for Security
Autonomous vehicle technology company Cyngn has achieved ISO 27001 certification, demonstrating its adherence to international information security management standards. The certification applies to its fleet management platform.
Autonomous vehicle technology provider Cyngn announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, an international standard for information security management systems. This certification verifies that Cyngn has implemented an Information Security Management System (ISMS) meeting the standard's requirements.
The certification specifically covers the ISMS supporting Cyngn Insight, the company's cloud-based fleet management platform for autonomous vehicles. This achievement is seen as a key step in meeting the security and governance needs of large enterprise clients, as cybersecurity becomes crucial in the procurement of connected technologies.
"Enterprise customers expect their technology partners to demonstrate that security is built into how they operate," said Lior Tal, CEO of Cyngn. "Achieving ISO 27001 certification gives our customers independent validation of the systems and controls we have established to protect information and manage security risk."
The company is also working towards SOC 2 Type II attestation, which it expects to complete in October 2026. This further strengthens Cyngn's readiness to serve security-conscious organizations in manufacturing and logistics sectors.
