Cynosure Lutronic launches XERF radiofrequency skin tightening technology in Europe
Cynosure Lutronic has introduced its next-generation XERF monopolar radiofrequency skin tightening platform in Europe. The launch follows a market study indicating record demand for non-invasive aesthetic treatments.
London, July 13, 2026 – Cynosure Lutronic, a global developer of energy-based aesthetic technologies, has launched XERF, its next-generation monopolar radiofrequency skin tightening platform, in Europe. The technology has previously seen success in the United States and Asia-Pacific regions.
The European rollout coincides with increasing patient demand for non-invasive aesthetic procedures. A recent market study commissioned by Cynosure Lutronic and conducted by Appinio revealed that 67% of surveyed patients prefer treatments that do not involve needles. The study also found that 58% of respondents consider tightening loose skin to be very or extremely important.
XERF utilizes dual radiofrequency energy (6.78 MHz and 2 MHz) within a single pulse, allowing energy to penetrate various tissue depths and treat superficial, dermal, and deeper structural layers simultaneously. Key features include WaveFit™ Pulse technology for controlled energy delivery and an integrated cryogenic cooling system to protect the skin surface during treatment.
Nikhil Nathwani of Cynosure Lutronic stated that XERF has established a strong reputation internationally. He also highlighted significant pre-launch interest from European clinics, suggesting market readiness for such non-surgical skin rejuvenation solutions.
