Chinese robotics technology company D-Robotics has secured $400 million in a Series C funding round. The company stated the capital infusion will advance its Sunrise chip portfolio and a comprehensive software platform designed for robot development.
D-Robotics reported its revenue grew multiple times year-over-year in the first half of 2026, while cumulative shipments of its Sunrise chips surpassed 8 million units. The company also noted that its embodied AI business has entered mass production.
The newly developed software platform aims to cover the entire robot development chain, from data collection and model training to simulation, inference, and deployment. D-Robotics intends to provide a unified hardware and software foundation for various robot categories.
Additionally, the company shared that its Sunrise S600 chip was adopted by over 20 customers within six months of its launch. This funding is expected to bolster D-Robotics' expansion in the competitive robotics and AI sectors.
