D-sijoitus Oy's Cargotec Ownership Transfers to Pivosto Oy
Cargotec Corporation announced that ownership of Cargotec shares held by D-sijoitus Oy has transferred to Pivosto Oy following a demerger. Ilona Herlin now holds 10.50% of Cargotec's shares.
Helsinki, Finland – August 31, 2015 – Cargotec Corporation announced today that D-sijoitus Oy's ownership stake in Cargotec has transferred to Pivosto Oy. The change follows a demerger that took place and was registered on August 31, 2015.
Following the demerger, Ilona Herlin, who controls D-sijoitus Oy, now holds 10.50% of Cargotec Corporation's shares and 22.11% of the votes through the new entity, Pivosto Oy.
D-sijoitus Oy had initially announced its agreement to the demerger on April 30, 2015. The agreement stipulated that Cargotec shares owned by D-sijoitus Oy would be transferred to Pivosto Oy, a company established as part of the demerger process.
Cargotec is a global leader in cargo and load handling solutions, with business areas including MacGregor, Kalmar, and Hiab. In 2014, the company reported sales of approximately EUR 3.4 billion and employed around 11,000 people worldwide.
