D-Wave Quantum Inc. Faces Securities Class Action Lawsuit
A securities class action lawsuit has been filed against D-Wave Quantum Inc., alleging the company provided misleading financial disclosures between February and August 2026.

Law firm Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP has filed a class action complaint against D-Wave Quantum Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The lawsuit represents investors who acquired company securities between February 26, 2026, and August 25, 2026, alleging that the company made materially false or misleading statements regarding its business and financial outlook.
The litigation follows significant stock price volatility in August 2026. On August 6, the company reported second-quarter financial results that missed analyst revenue expectations, leading to a 9.28% decline in share price. Further pressure on the stock occurred on August 25, when the company announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, resulting in an additional 9.51% share price drop.
The complaint asserts that the company failed to accurately disclose the extent of its operational challenges, misleading investors about its prospects. Shareholders interested in serving as lead plaintiff in the case must file their applications with the court no later than December 15, 2026.
