Bengaluru, India – Curaa, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) kitchenware startup, has secured ₹40 crore (approximately $4.2 million) in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital. Existing investors Kae Capital, Lumikai Fund, and Better Capital also participated in the round.
The startup intends to utilize the funds to broaden its product portfolio across pre-cook and cooking categories. The capital will also support the expansion of warehousing and supply chain infrastructure, scale presence across D2C channels, marketplaces, and quick commerce, and facilitate senior leadership hires.
Founded in 2024 by Neeraj Kumawat and Sanjyot Keer, Curaa designs kitchen appliances and tools specifically for Indian households. Its product range includes choppers, blenders, hand mixers, kettles, induction cooktops, and tableware. The company claims to have grown its monthly net revenue 25-fold and served over 300,000 households since its launch.
Co-founder Sanjyot Keer also founded Your Food Lab, a culinary content platform with a significant following on YouTube and Instagram, whose insights inform Curaa's product development. The kitchenware market is experiencing growth, with new D2C brands focusing on premium, design-led, and health-conscious products. The Indian kitchenware market is projected to exceed $5.5 billion by 2033.
